HSE Manager – Data Centre Safety & Compliance Leader

Job summary

Enersense International Oyj is seeking an experienced HSE Manager for a data centre construction project in Helsinki, Finland. You will uphold a safe, compliant and high-performing site by working closely with project management, site teams and subcontractors.

You will develop, implement and maintain Construction Stage Health & Safety Plans, ensure regulatory compliance, lead inspections and audits, and report to senior management on HSE performance and risks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Health & Safety or Environmental Management required.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience in data centre construction is highly advantageous.
• Ability to lead and coordinate HSE inductions, training and audits on site.

Responsibilities

• Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the HSE management system and project requirements.
• Develop, implement and maintain Construction Stage HSE Plans throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on HSE performance, risks and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Lead and support accident and incident investigations.
