Job summary

SAAB Sensor Technology Center in Tampere is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, secure, and maintain the development infrastructure used throughout the product lifecycle. You will work with Kubernetes-based platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and automated build and test systems to support fast and reliable software delivery.

You will collaborate with software and systems engineers to apply industry best practices for secure, compliant, and efficient development, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Build Engineering or similar.
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS/PKI).
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes platforms.
• Security/Dedicated DevSecOps knowledge and practices.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve DevOps toolchain, CI/CD pipelines, and artifact repositories.
• Design and secure network connectivity for development, build, test, and deployment environments.
• Support network architecture for Kubernetes-based platforms, incl. ingress, load balancing, DNS, policies and cert management.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations.
• Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Integrate security controls into the SDLC and governance checks.
• Evaluate AI-powered tools that enhance developer productivity.
• Administer developer tools and provide visibility/reporting across lifecycles.
