Job summary

Academic Work Finland Oy in Tampere is seeking a skilled build/DevOps support engineer to maintain Linux servers and CI/CD pipelines, and to empower developers with robust build tooling in a hybrid work setting.

You will configure automation scripts and provide reliable software infrastructure, collaborating with international teams while using English as the primary language of work. Finnish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Linux administration (Debian/RedHat).
• Administration and support of Atlassian tools, with a primary focus on Jira.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to script and create practical automation to simplify software processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Linux server environments (e.g., Debian, RHEL).
• Configure, optimize, and maintain Jenkins CI/CD automation pipelines and software builds.
• Develop infrastructure automation and scripting using Bash, Python, and Ansible.
• Act as a primary point of contact for software build and tooling questions, assisting development colleagues with technical inquiries.
