Job summary

SAAB Sensor Technology Center in Tampere, Finland, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead development efforts in Electronic Warfare products within a cross-functional R&D team. You will bridge technical execution with project leadership across defense-focused programs.

Ideal candidates bring a strong technical background, hands-on experience in RF/embedded systems, and excellent Finnish/English communication. The role supports flexible hours and partial remote work in Tampere.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Technical Physics, Electrical Engineering, Digital Signal Processing or equivalent.
• Experience in Defence, Space or Telecoms industries.
• Experience in mixed signal, RF, embedded and communications systems development.
• Ability to work independently with a self-driven mindset.
• Confidence in decision-making and proactive execution.
• Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Leading the product development activities of Electronic Warfare products.
• Development, coordination and execution of a plan and schedule with internal and external customers.
• Developing and managing customer requirements for individual projects.
• Developing strategic working relationships and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
