Job summary

Supercell is seeking a Quality Engineering Lead to join the Player Platform team in Helsinki, onsite. You will own quality strategy and execution across Supercell Store, Supercell ID, and our web presence, shaping how testing informs product and platform decisions.

You will drive automation and AI-assisted testing, partner with engineering to embed quality gates in CI/CD, and grow the QA function while ensuring end-to-end coverage across games and connected systems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with test automation and AI-assisted testing tools.
• Proficiency in a modern programming language and cloud familiarity.
• Strong testing principles and risk-based prioritization.
• Ability to understand system internals and identify high-risk areas.
• Experience transforming QA toward automation.

Responsibilities

• Own the QA strategy across the Player Platform products and decide testing approaches.
• Lead automation and AI-assisted testing initiatives with teams.
• Influence design and implementation to improve testability before release.
• Build and scale test automation with CI/CD integration.
• Extend quality practices into production with monitoring and real signals.
• Collaborate with game teams to expand end-to-end testing across systems.
• Coordinate with Central QA Automation to share solutions.
• Define release readiness criteria and go/no-go decisions.
• Grow the quality team through hiring and mentoring.
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive fixes.
