Job summary

Supercell in Helsinki is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join our Central Automation team. You’ll help shape the next generation of engineering tools and collaborate with game teams to build and maintain scalable automation infrastructure across multiple products.

You’ll work on modern CI systems, AI-powered workflows, and a developer experience that reduces flaky tests while increasing trust in automation. Relocation assistance is available for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating automation platforms at scale.
• Strong emphasis on reliability and usability of automation.
• Hands-on with mobile automation, CI/CD, or infrastructure.
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering and developer tooling.
• Experience in game development or mobile gaming.
• Willingness to work across teams and own problems.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the automation infrastructure used across Supercell.
• Improve the reliability, scalability, and observability of our automation platforms.
• Build tools that help developers test, debug, and release with confidence.
• Partner closely with game teams to solve real engineering problems.
• Define how AI can improve automation, testing, debugging, reporting, and productivity.
• Reduce flaky tests, improve feedback loops, and increase trust in automation.
• Take ownership of services and infrastructure that other engineers rely on.
• Continuously improve the developer experience across our engineering ecosystem.
