Job summary

Enexa Partners in Finland is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Lead to coordinate civil work packages on a hyperscale data centre project. You will manage a large project team and oversee subcontractors to deliver on schedule and quality.

The role requires a minimum of 7 years in Civil Engineering, strong scheduling and leadership skills, and a track record with large-scale projects. EU eligibility preferred; global travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of Civil Engineering industry experience.
• Experience delivering projects from concept to handover.
• Experience scheduling, programming, coordinating subcontractors.
• Experience leading teams; data centre experience is a plus.

• Manage a project team of 20+ including Package Managers, Design Managers, Engineers and site supervisors.
• Support the team in managing 10+ subcontractors with a combined package value over €100m.
• Oversee Contractor’s Design Elements and ensure approvals are in place prior to construction.
• Ensure processes are followed by sub-contractors under supervision.
• Manage Site Safety in conjunction with safety personnel.
• Manage Site QA with the Projects team.
• Manage Project Schedule with Planner, PMs, Sub-Contractors and Engineers.

Description

Manage the Co-Ordination of the Civil Work Packages on this Hyperscale Project.

Manage a project team of 20+ including, Package Managers, Design Managers, Engineers and site supervisors.

Support your team in managing 10+ subcontractors with a combined package value in excess of €100m.

Oversee Contractor’s Design Elements of the project, ensuring design is carried out and relevant approvals in place ahead of construction on-site.

Ensure processes are followed by sub-contractors carrying out works under your supervision.

Management of Site Safety in conjunction with safety personnel (including set-up, management and close out).

Management of Site QA in conjunction the Projects team.

Management of Project Schedule in conjunction with Planner, Project Managers, Sub-Contractors and Consulting Engineers/Architects to ensure client requirements are adhered to.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civils Engineering or similar preferred

At least 7 years of Civil Engineering industry experience.

• Previous experience delivering projects from Concept To Handover.
• Experience in Scheduling, Programming, Managing Subcontractors and Sequencing.
• Experience in effectively managing teams is essential.
• Data centre experience is advantageous but not necessary
• Experience in the delivery of large-scale projects is necessary

Additional Benefits: You will be working on a 3-week rotational basis (17/4 Rotational Roster with flights covered. e.g Monday to Saturday for two weeks & then Monday to Wednesday) with additional benefits covering: all accommodation covered (solo accommodation/own apartment, fully furnished with all utility bills paid inc.
