We are currently seeking an experienced Design Project Manager to join our project team in Vaasa, Finland. This role will be responsible for leading and managing the design process across Civil, Structural, Architectural, and MEP disciplines, ensuring designs are coordinated, compliant, and delivered in line with programme and project requirements.

Requirements
- Lead and manage the design process across all project disciplines throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of design information
- Manage the design programme in alignment with overall project schedules
- Ensure design deliverables meet project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
- Chair and attend Design Meetings, Coordination Meetings, and Project Reviews
- Oversee the review and approval of drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
- Liaise closely with construction teams to ensure design intent is achieved and buildability is considered
- Manage design changes, RFIs, and ensure timely resolution of technical queries
- Ensure effective coordination between CSA and MEP design elements
- Support commercial teams by identifying design-related risks, opportunities, and variations
- Monitor design progress and provide regular reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Proactively identify and resolve design, technical, and coordination issues
- Ensure all design documentation is maintained and up to date throughout the project lifecycle
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or similar discipline
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience in design management or project management within construction
- Strong experience managing multidisciplinary design teams on large-scale projects
- Proven ability to manage design programmes and deliverables in line with project timelines
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong technical understanding of CSA and MEP systems and design integration
- Knowledge of relevant design standards, codes, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively across design and construction teams
- Data centre, industrial, or mission-critical project experience is advantageous
