Job summary

Scope Impact in Helsinki seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations, HR ownership, and resource planning across Finland and international teams.

You will drive improvements, develop HR practices, recruitment, onboarding and employee development while coordinating with product teams to support Halla Health and growth. This is a full-time, hybrid role shaping how Scope operates as it grows.

Qualifications

• Masters degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
• Minimum 5 years in operations or related roles, preferably in product/growth companies.
• Strong HR expertise including independent management of people processes.
• Experience in recruitment, onboarding and employee development.
• Track record of improving processes, systems and ways of working.
• Excellent organizational and multi-priority management skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, with strong collaboration across cultures.
• Excellent written and spoken English; proficient with MS Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve day-to-day operations and internal processes.
• Own HR operations, policies, practices and recruitment.
• Oversee onboarding and employee development activities.
• Collaborate with managers on people-related matters and org development.
• Coordinate resource planning across teams and projects.
• Work with product teams to support development, delivery and growth.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive improvements across teams.
• Develop internal systems, documentation and knowledge management.
• Drive AI adoption in operational processes to boost efficiency.
• Oversee procurement, vendors, administration and compliance.
• Coordinate operations with international teams, partners and funders.
• Translate strategy into actionable operational plans.
