Job summary

Vickerstock is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major MEP project in Finland. You will oversee mobilisation, planning, execution and handover, coordinating site teams, subcontractors and internal departments to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires senior delivery expertise in large-scale MEP or building services projects, with a track record on projects valued at €10 million or more.

Responsibilities

• Manage project mobilisation through to handover.
• Develop, monitor and maintain the project programme.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and internal departments.
• Oversee delivery and installation of MEP packages.
• Ensure milestones, budgets and quality standards are met.
• Monitor progress and address risks or delays.
• Chair project meetings and report progress to stakeholders.
• Maintain strong client/design team relationships.
• Support commercial teams on costs and variations.

A market-leading specialist engineering business delivering innovative MEP solutions to the Data Centre Sector.

As the business continues to expand its project delivery capability, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery of a major MEP project in Finland.

This is a senior delivery position suited to someone with experience managing large-scale MEP or building services projects valued in excess of €10 million. You will oversee the project from planning through to completion, coordinating site operations, programme, commercial performance, quality and client relationships.

Your new role as Project Manager

• Managing the project from mobilisation through to completion and handover
• Developing, monitoring and maintaining the project programme
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and internal departments
• Managing the delivery and installation of MEP packages
• Ensuring project milestones, budgets and quality standards are achieved
• Monitoring progress and addressing any risks, delays or delivery issues
• Chairing project meetings and providing clear progress reports
• Maintaining strong relationships with the client, design team and project stakeholders
• Working closely with commercial teams to monitor costs, variations and project performance
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety, quality and environmental requirements
• Managing testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover
• Supporting and leading the project team throughout each stage of delivery

What you will need to succeed

• Proven experience delivering large-scale MEP, building services or specialist engineering projects
• Previous responsibility for projects valued in excess of €10 million
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical project delivery
• Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and multiple project stakeholders
• Strong programme, commercial and risk‑management awareness
• Excellent communication, leadership and client‑management skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities within a fast‑paced project environment
• Willingness to work in Finland on a 17/4 rotation
• EU Passport- Essential
