Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced MEP Lead for a permanent, on-site role in Vaasa, Finland. You will oversee all Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing activities on site, ensuring safe, high-quality delivery aligned with programme and budget.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of MEP construction experience, strong leadership, and a background in large-scale MEP systems, preferably in data centres or mission-critical environments. Start ASAP and be part of a major European delivery partner.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• 8+ years’ MEP construction experience with strong leadership capability.
• Proven delivery of large-scale Mechanical and Electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of MEP coordination, sequencing and commissioning.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Experience in data centres, industrial or mission-critical environments is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP delivery across the full project lifecycle.
• Coordinate daily site operations with the wider project team; maintain QA/QC standards and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Manage subcontractor performance including progress, manpower and documentation.
• Drive safety culture across all MEP activities.
• Review drawings and technical submissions to ensure coordinated delivery.
• Support commercial tracking including variations and cost control.
• Prepare progress reports for senior stakeholders.
• Resolve technical and coordination issues.
