Job summary

Barona Teollisuus Oy is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for Compute Nordic to oversee electrical systems in data center projects across Europe. You will coordinate with clients, partners, contractors and internal teams to ensure high-quality technical solutions from concept to commissioning.

The role requires a strong technical background, leadership in complex environments, and excellent English communication. Travel up to 30% may be required across Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Approximately 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering and critical infrastructure projects.
• Experience from data centers or mission-critical industries such as power generation, energy, utilities, or EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and coordination of electrical systems for data center projects.
• Provide technical expertise for HV, MV, and LV power distribution solutions.
• Support UPS, backup power, energy storage, and utility connection solutions.
• Review and approve technical documentation, designs, and engineering deliverables.
• Lead testing, commissioning, and factory acceptance activities.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
