Compute Nordic seeks a Lead Mechanical Engineer to oversee mechanical systems for data center projects, including high-density cooling solutions and fire protection. You will work with clients, partners, contractors, and internal teams across Europe to deliver innovative, reliable infrastructure for AI-driven data centers.

The role requires a strong engineering background, ~10+ years in critical infrastructure, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering and critical infrastructure projects.
Experience from data centers or mission-critical industries such as energy, power generation, or EPC projects.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, cooling technologies, and mechanical infrastructure.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams on complex projects.
Excellent English communication skills.

Responsabilités

Lead development and coordination of mechanical systems for data center projects.
Provide technical expertise in HVAC, fire protection, and cooling solutions.
Review and approve technical documentation, designs, and engineering deliverables.
Lead testing, commissioning, and factory acceptance activities.
Act as the primary technical point of contact for key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
