Fiskars Group is seeking an Industrial Designer to join our R&D team in Finland. The role focuses on transforming insights into meaningful product solutions and creating compelling visual concepts that align with our brand DNA.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop prototypes, and contribute to sustainable, user-centered designs. The position is full-time and hybrid, based in Espoo or Billnäs with opportunities to influence everyday life through design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial design or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in industrial design and consumer product development.
• Exceptional visualization skills and a refined sense of form.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with prototyping tools and methods.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Generate innovative product concepts based on user insights and design research.
• Create functional and presentation-quality prototypes (analog and digital).
• Compose compelling visual stories to communicate design proposals.
• Ensure alignment with Fiskars' Product DNA and brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with engineering and product management to ensure feasibility and quality.
• Stay ahead of design trends and bring unique perspectives to projects.
