Fiskars Group is seeking an Industrial Designer to join our R&D team in Espoo or Billnäs. You will transform insights into meaningful product solutions and create compelling visual concepts.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure feasibility, quality, and alignment with our brand DNA, staying ahead of design trends.

The role is full-time and hybrid, reporting to the Manager of Industrial Design. Portfolio required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial design or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in industrial design and consumer product development.
• Exceptional visualization skills and refined sense of form.

We are looking for a passionate Industrial Designer to join our innovative R&D team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and curious individual with a few years of experience - to help shape the future of design at Fiskars.

In this role, you will transform insights into meaningful product solutions, create compelling visual concepts, and contribute to the development of products that combine functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and bring fresh perspectives to our design process.

This position is based either in Espoo or Billnäs factory, Finland, and reports to our Manager Industrial Design, R&D. The role is full-time and hybrid.

WHAT YOU'LL DO AT FISKARS GROUP

• Generate innovative product concepts based on user insights and design research.

WHO YOU ARE

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial design or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of professional experience in industrial design and consumer product development.
• Exceptional visualization skills and a refined sense of form.
• Curious, creative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with prototyping tools and methods.
• Positive attitude and ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
