Job summary
Fiskars Group is seeking an Industrial Designer to join our R&D team in Espoo or Billnäs. You will transform insights into meaningful product solutions and create compelling visual concepts.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure feasibility, quality, and alignment with our brand DNA, staying ahead of design trends.
The role is full-time and hybrid, reporting to the Manager of Industrial Design. Portfolio required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial design or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of professional experience in industrial design and consumer product development.
- Exceptional visualization skills and refined sense of form.
Responsibilities
- Generate innovative product concepts based on user insights and design research.
- Create functional and presentation-quality prototypes (analog and digital).
- Compose compelling visual stories to communicate design proposals.
- Ensure alignment with Fiskars' Product DNA and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with engineering and product management to ensure feasibility and quality.
- Stay ahead of design trends and bring unique perspectives to projects.
