Job summary

Outokumpu Chrome Oy in Tornio, Finland invites an IT Service Desk Specialist to join its international IT team in a hybrid role requiring presence at the Tornio site about 50% of the time. You will provide first‑line support for hardware, software, access rights, and networks, helping keep production operations running smoothly.

You will collaborate with local and global teams, document investigations in the ITSM system, and contribute to improving services.

Qualifications

Degree in IT or equivalent practical experience.
At least 1 year of experience in a Service Desk or IT support.
Good understanding of Windows, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Fluent Finnish and English, able to explain technical topics clearly.
Customer-oriented and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for users seeking IT support via chat, portal, phone or email.
Investigate and resolve IT issues remotely, gathering information for deeper investigation.
Advise users in the use of IT services and digital tools.
Escalate unresolved issues to specialist teams.
Document investigations and resolutions in the ITSM system.
Share user feedback to improve services and processes.
Maintain and contribute to the IT knowledge base.
