Job summary

IQM Quantum Computers, Espoo, seeks a Commercial Legal Counsel to support ongoing growth in sales, product and partnerships. The role focuses on structuring, reviewing and negotiating agreements for on‑prem and cloud offerings, research collaborations and strategic partnerships.

You’ll translate complex legal issues into practical business guidance across IQM’s global team. The candidate should have 3–5 years of relevant legal experience, a Master’s degree in Law, and strong drafting skills in

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Master’s degree in Law (LL.M. or equivalent).
• Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Excellent Finnish and English, with the ability to communicate legal advice clearly.
• Experience working with commercial stakeholders and balancing legal risk with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and develop commercial agreements aligned with IQM’s risk appetite.
• Partner with Sales and business teams during negotiations, providing legal guidance and explaining terms.
• Advise on regulations relevant to commercial agreements, including procurement, export control and competition law.
• Work with Product, IP, Technology and Security to reflect IQM’s tech and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and improve contract templates, processes and practices for consistency and efficiency.
• Engage with prospects, customers and partners to explain legal considerations and support negotiations.
• Manage multiple projects and stakeholders across IQM’s global organization from start to finish.
• Build understanding of IQM’s technology to make legal advice practical and business-focused.
