Job summary

IQM Quantum Computers is seeking a Senior Market Intelligence Specialist to convert raw market data into strategic insights for sales, marketing, and leadership. You will ensure accuracy, traceability, and credible sourcing for market figures across the quantum computing space.

You will partner with the Market Intelligence & Strategy Manager, work with analytics, sales, marketing, and tech teams, and build Excel models and PowerPoint outputs for executive audiences.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in market intelligence, market research, strategy, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong skills in market research, sizing, segmentation, and forecasting.
• Excellent Excel skills for data structuring, modeling, and QA.
• Strong PowerPoint skills to present findings clearly to varied audiences.
• High numeracy with good data quality judgment.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, deep tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep sales collateral up to date with accurate, current market data, with every figure traceable to a credible source.
• Support market analysis and forecasting, including sizing, segmentation, and scenario work across quantum computing markets.
• Maintain existing economic impact and market forecast models used by the commercial team.
• Monitor and maintain market intelligence databases, and scout for better sources.
• Build and grow relationships with analysts at quantum market intelligence firms to stay close to latest research.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business and technology teams to turn questions into clear intelligence.
• Present findings through well-structured Excel models and PowerPoint outputs for commercial and executive audiences.
• Bring judgment to ambiguous, fast-moving questions, delivering reliable output with limited supervision.

The work

As a Senior Market Intelligence Specialist, you'll be the person who keeps that foundation solid. You'll turn raw market data into insight our sales, marketing, and leadership teams can actually use and trust. Every figure you touch will be accurate, current, and traceable back to a credible source. You'll work closely with the Market Intelligence & Strategy Manager and partner regularly with sales, marketing, and technology teams across the business.

What you’ll actually do

• Bring judgment to ambiguous, fast-moving questions, and deliver reliable output with limited supervision

What we’re looking for

• Master's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related field
• Experience in market intelligence, market research, strategy, or a similar analytical role
• Strong skills in market research, sizing, segmentation, and forecasting
• Excellent Excel skills, including structuring data, building models, and quality checking figures
• Strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to communicate findings clearly to different audiences
• High numeracy, with good judgment on data quality and methodology
• Comfortable working independently and managing priorities in a fast-moving, deep tech environment

Seen as an advantage

• Experience working with or alongside industry analyst firms as an in-house analyst for your organization (for example IDC, The Quantum Insider, or Gartner)
