Job summary

IQM is seeking a Senior Market Intelligence Specialist to turn raw market data into actionable insights for sales, marketing, and leadership. You will ensure accuracy, traceability, and timely updates across market data, forecasts, and economic models.

You’ll collaborate with the Market Intelligence & Strategy Manager and partner with sales, marketing, and technology teams to deliver clear intelligence through Excel and PowerPoint for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in market intelligence, market research, strategy, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong skills in market research, sizing, segmentation, and forecasting.
• Excellent Excel skills, including structuring data, building models, and quality checking figures.
• Strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to communicate findings clearly to different audiences.
• High numeracy, with good judgment on data quality and methodology.
• Comfortable working independently and managing priorities in a fast-moving, deep tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep sales collateral up to date with accurate, current market data, with every figure traceable to a credible source.
• Support market analysis and forecasting, including sizing, segmentation, and scenario work across quantum computing markets.
• Maintain existing economic impact and market forecast models used by the commercial team.
• Monitor and maintain market intelligence databases, and keep scouting for better or additional sources.
• Build and grow relationships with analysts at quantum market intelligence firms to keep IQM close to the latest research.
• Work cross functionally with business and technology teams, turning their questions into clear intelligence.
• Communicate findings through well-structured Excel models and PowerPoint outputs for commercial and executive audiences.
• Bring judgment to ambiguous, fast-moving questions, and deliver reliable output with limited supervision.

The work

As a Senior Market Intelligence Specialist, you'll be the person who keeps that foundation solid. You'll work closely with the Market Intelligence & Strategy Manager and partner regularly with sales, marketing, and technology teams across the business.

What we’re looking for
