Job summary

IQM Finland Oy is seeking a Commercial Legal Counsel to support growth by advising on commercial agreements, regulatory matters, and cross‑functional collaboration with Sales, Product, IP and Security. You’ll draft, review and negotiate documents, ensure regulatory compliance, and help shape IQM’s commercial strategy across global teams.

The role requires 3–5 years of legal experience, a Master’s degree in Law (LL.M. or equivalent), and fluency in Finnish and English.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant legal experience, in-house with Sales/commercial teams or at a technology/M&A law firm.
• Master’s degree in Law (LL.M. or equivalent).
• Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Excellent Finnish and English, with clear, simple communication of legal advice.
• Experience working with commercial stakeholders and balancing legal risk with commercial objectives.
• Strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and ability to understand the broader context.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders independently.
• Genuine curiosity about technology, products, and quantum computing industry.
• Rational, structured problem-solving and practical solutions.
• Collaborative, customer-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and develop a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Collaborate with Sales and business teams during negotiations.
• Advise on regulations relevant to commercial agreements, including procurement and export control.
• Work with Product, IP, Technology and Security to reflect IQM’s technology in agreements.
• Develop and improve contract templates and processes.
• Engage with prospects, customers and partners to explain legal considerations.
• Manage multiple projects across IQM’s global organization.
• Build practical, business‑focused legal guidance.
