Job summary

Finnair Plc is seeking a GOPS Process and Safety Consultant to oversee on-site ground operations at Helsinki HUB, ensuring safe and compliant turnaround processes. You will monitor, report and improve performance, coordinating with internal teams, external providers and airport stakeholders to mitigate risks.

The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of ground handling and a bachelor's degree (preferred).

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of airline operational core processes with emphasis on ground handling.
• Ability to influence performance through collaboration with operations, service providers and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, analytical and proactive problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily performance of ground handling activities to ensure compliance with turnaround processes.
• Address non-compliances and ensure reporting requirements are followed.
• Perform quality checks on turnaround activities and contribute to safety communications.
• Develop safety processes and participate in risk assessments and safety meetings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to revise GOM chapters and manuals.
