Job summary

Finnair seeks a Sustainability Reporting Lead to advance ESRS reporting processes and data governance. You will collaborate with the sustainability team to collect, validate and present ESG data for group reporting, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Master's or bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, sustainability, CS or risk management.
3–5 years in financial or sustainability reporting, auditing or consulting.
Knowledge of ESG standards and reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD, ESRS).
Understanding of financial reporting standards and frameworks is beneficial.
Proficiency with IT systems and ability to develop reporting processes.
Analytical problem-solving and proactive mindset.
Experience in project management and independent process development.
Excellent cross-functional communication and teamwork.
Excellent written and verbal English; Finnish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

ESRS reporting process development aligned with industry standards and best practices.
Data gathering, validation, and organization for sustainability reporting.
Monitor accuracy and completeness of ESRS reports; take corrective actions.
Develop and implement automated reporting solutions to streamline processes.
Ensure reporting controls and audit compliance; act as main contact for auditors.
Stay updated with laws and best practices; organize company-wide trainings.
Support team across accounting, finance, tax, sustainability and reporting.
