Job summary

WE Tech Solutions Oy in Vaasa, Finland, is seeking an experienced Service Sales Manager to grow our lifecycle service business across the installed base. The role combines commercial drive with technical understanding to create valuable service solutions for shipowners, operators and ship management companies.

You will proactively develop customers, identify opportunities, negotiate and close business, and collaborate with our global teams to expand WE Techs lifecycle offerings.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in service sales or technical solution sales.
• A relevant technical or commercial education, preferably B.Sc. or M.Sc.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Good technical understanding of electrical/automation/control systems.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop an assigned customer portfolio and grow lifecycle service business within WE Techs installed base.
• Identify and pursue new service business opportunities with shipowners, operators and ship management companies.
• Drive sales of service agreements, maintenance, spare parts, training, remote services, and system updates and upgrades.
• Identify opportunities for system upgrades, modernisations and retrofits across WE Techs installed base.
• Understand customer operations, fleet plans and lifecycle needs and translate them into relevant technical and commercial service solutions.
• Work with technical specialists to develop lifecycle solutions based on vessel electrical architecture and customer requirements.
• Actively identify cross-selling opportunities between service, upgrades, retrofits and WE Techs broader solution portfolio.
• Develop recurring service business and long-term customer agreements.
