Job summary

Valmet is seeking an IT Service Manager to harmonize payroll and time management solutions and serve as the IT partner for PCC, Payroll and QHSE. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of applications, align with IT strategy, and collaborate with process owners and vendors to deliver reliable, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree (M.Sc. or B.Sc.) from IT or another relevant field.
• 3–5 years of work experience and knowledge of relevant IT solutions.
• Strong Finnish language skills are essential for time and attendance systems.
• Service management, development and project management skills.
• Understanding of QHSE and PCC processes and their impact on IT.
• Knowledge of payroll and time-management data flows and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Drive harmonization in payroll and time management solutions.
• Act as the IT partner for PCC, Payroll and QHSE.
• Own end-to-end application and service lifecycle from design to retirement.
• Participate in process and capability development with IT and business.
• Maintain roadmaps and development plans with Domain Lead and Enterprise Architect.
• Understand QHSE, Payroll and Time Management contexts and requirements.
• Vendor management for cost-efficient delivery and support.
