Job summary

Valmet Technologies Oy seeks an IT Service Manager to harmonize payroll and time-management solutions and to act as IT partner for PCC, Payroll and QHSE. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of applications, collaborating with global stakeholders and IT teams to deliver compliant, scalable solutions.

The role requires a strong IT background, experience in QHSE/PCC processes, and fluency in English, with Finnish language skills essential for time-management tasks and local legislation.

Qualifications

• Degree (M.Sc. or B.Sc.) in IT or related field.
• 3–5 years of work experience and knowledge of relevant IT solutions.
• English is working language; Finnish required for time attendance tasks and Finnish legislation.
• Service management, development and project management skills.
• Development-oriented thinking with drive to improve operations.
• Experience with QHSE and PCC processes and their IT impact.
• Strong understanding of payroll and time-management processes including data flows and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Drive harmonization of payroll and time management solutions.
• Act as IT partner for PCC, Payroll and QHSE; participate in design, development and testing of IT solutions.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle of applications and services from design to retirement; align with IT strategy.
• Participate in business process development as IT representative.
• Maintain roadmaps and development plans with Domain Lead and Enterprise Architect.
• Understand QHSE, Payroll and Time Management context and be IT SME for business.
• Vendor management: ensure cost-efficient, timely delivery of development items and support services.
