Job summary

Sumitomo SHI FW is seeking a Sales Manager for Energy and Decarbonization to lead proposal development and the commercial aspects of energy technology solutions. The role involves coordinating a multidisciplinary Proposal Team and negotiating with international customers.

The position requires a strong commercial and technical background, with an engineering degree and at least five years of engineering or proposal experience, including familiarity with energy projects and power plants.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. (Eng.) or B.Eng. with a focus in Energy Technology, Power Plant Technology, Environmental Technology, Thermal Engineering or Process Engineering.
• Minimum of five years of work experience in engineering and/or proposal-related roles.
• Experience in process and power plants is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, multitasking, and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal development for technology solutions and ensure competitiveness.
• Head the Proposal Team and collaborate with the Proposal Manager and other specialists.
• Oversee commercial aspects of proposals and prepare commercial documentation for contracts.
• Serve as the primary customer contact during the proposal phase and lead negotiations with international customers.
