Job summary

Nordea is seeking an FX Strategist in Helsinki to shape FX views using fundamental and data-driven research. You will translate market insights into client guidance, feed into the market outlook, and engage with clients from day one in a fast-paced Nordic banking environment.

Based on a background in economics/finance with 3–5 years of relevant experience, you will collaborate with economists, strategists and trading teams while leveraging AI and modern analytical tools to generate sharper

• A university degree in economics, finance, mathematics or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Analyse macroeconomic and market drivers of currencies; monitor monetary policy, rates, geopolitics and risk sentiment.
• Develop FX forecasts and contribute to Nordea’s market views and client guidance.
• Produce timely, high-quality research translating market developments into actionable insights.
• Translate market views into implications for clients’ FX exposures and hedging decisions.
• Present views through client meetings, calls and webinars.
• Collaborate with economists, strategists, sales and trading, taking ownership from day one.
