Job summary

Nordea is seeking a Project Leader to join the Risk Models Strategy & MDP Execution team, coordinating data improvement projects and driving cross-functional collaboration to develop and implement internal risk models across the bank.

The role is based in Finland, Poland or Sweden and involves end-to-end project initiation, maturation and execution with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring timely, high-quality deliveries and strong communication throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in the financial sector or similar, especially within the credit risk domain from a business perspective.
• Ambitious, self-driven and structured professional comfortable presenting in large audiences.
• Analytical skills and ability to tackle complex issues with proactive problem solving.
• Proactive ability to interact with key stakeholders across the value chain and deliver timely results.
• Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Motivated team player who can project energy across projects.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan, scope, structure and drive data related projects or coordinate cross-departmental strategy.
• Manage stakeholders at all levels and present plans, progress and results to steering committees and program forums.
• Deliver high-quality work through SME collaboration, problem-solving and understanding dependencies.
• Act as the first line of escalation and own stakeholder dialogues, with outcomes logged and followed-up.
