Job summary

Nordea in Helsinki seeks a Risk Expert to join the Counterparty Credit Risk team. This permanent, full-time role focuses on monitoring, analysis, reporting, and governance of counterparty credit risk across derivatives and related trading activities.

You will produce and enhance risk reports, develop executive commentary, support stress testing, and collaborate with finance, trading, data, and regulatory teams to deliver timely, decision-ready information.

Qualifications

• Experience producing management information, executive summaries, dashboards, and risk commentary.
• Ability to translate complex risk data into clear management information for senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with large datasets, exposure movements, and risk drivers.
• Experience with CCR reporting, governance frameworks, and regulatory reporting inputs.

Responsibilities

• Produce and enhance daily, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc counterparty credit risk reports for management, committees, risk owners, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Analyse movements in exposure measures and collateral, stress results, and limit utilisation.
• Investigate data breaks, outliers, concentration risks, breaches, and emerging risk themes.
• Prepare concise executive commentary explaining key risk drivers, trends, and forward-looking risk outlooks.
• Support stress testing and scenario analysis across market factors and liquidity stress.
• Maintain and strengthen controls, data quality checks, and reporting procedures.
