Job summary
Verkada is seeking the first Enterprise Field Solutions Engineer in Finland to drive upmarket growth with Fortune 500 clients. You will partner with field account executives to design deployments, address cloud security, IoT, and access control challenges, and deliver technical wins remotely from Helsinki.
You will be the technical evangelist, build regional capabilities, and collaborate with partners while traveling up to 50% to engage customers and projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Networking or related field.
- Experience with networking protocols: HTTPS/SSL, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, DHCP, Firewalls.
- Industry certifications (AWS, CCNA/CCNP/CCDA, MCSE, CISSP, CEH) preferred.
- Experience with APIs and Python is a plus.
- Proven track record with Fortune 500 clients is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Be the subject matter authority on Verkada products and articulate value throughout the sales process.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers and overcome objections to secure the technical win.
- Help build the region and enable local partners.
- Present Verkada solutions to all levels of customer leadership.
- Develop territory strategy with Account Executives and regional leaders.
- Design solutions covering network security, product selection, and deployments.
- Stay current on security and IoT industry trends and share insights.
- Create technical content and knowledge base articles about products and integrations.
- Travel up to 50% as required.
