Job summary

Stott and May is seeking a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with enterprise customers in Finland, deploying AI-powered solutions into production. You will own projects end-to-end from problem definition to deployment, optimization and measuring business impact in a highly practical, customer-facing role.

The role requires 5+ years in software engineering or technical problem-solving, strong systems thinking, and experience across data flows and integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering or technical problem-solving experience.
• Strong fundamentals and systems-thinking ability.
• Experience across systems, integrations and data flows.
• Comfortable working directly with customers in ambiguous environments.
• Proven ability to own projects from problem to production.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Genuine interest in AI-powered business solutions.
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with enterprise customers to understand operational challenges and success criteria.
• Translate complex, open-ended problems into clear technical solutions.
• Build and deploy AI agents that integrate with enterprise systems and perform real-world tasks.
• Own production deployments, including reliability, performance and continuous improvement.
• Work with real customer data to test solutions, measure outcomes and iterate.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Develop tools, documentation and best practices to improve customer delivery.
• Take ownership of projects from initial problem definition through to production outcomes.
