Job summary

Aiven is seeking a Lead People Partner in Finland to partner with the CPTO and leadership to shape and land talent strategies across the company. You’ll act as a strategic advisor, shaping what the People function builds and ensuring it lands in practice within your functions.

You will drive workforce planning, career frameworks, and DEI initiatives, mentor junior partners, and raise the quality of people operations globally, while collaborating with the wider People team to deliver impactful

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a senior HR/People Business Partner operating at executive level.
• Track record of building high-density organisations: succession planning, career frameworks, and calibration that change outcomes.
• Ability to design org structure and succession planning and perform difficult performance conversations.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic advisor to C-suite and VP-level leaders to shape organization, talent, and retention.
• Co-create the people strategy for functions with functional leaders and push back when needed.
• Set the standard for talent density through 9-box, career frameworks, and succession planning.
• Drive manager accountability for people outcomes with proper tools and expectations.
• Own total rewards alignment and levelling consistency across functions, championing DEI at senior levels.
• Lead workforce planning for 6–12 months with functional leaders and guilds.
• Sponsor AI-native career frameworks and drive AI-first behaviours in leaders and teams.
• Collaborate with the broader People team to frame problems and develop people products.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level People Partners to improve team output.
• Be a key voice in what the People function prioritises across the business.
