Job summary

Outokumpu Oyj is seeking a Service Manager for End User Services, AD and Azure VDI Infrastructure to lead service operations, drive continuous improvement and partner with business stakeholders and vendors.

You will manage daily IT service operations, budgets, CABs and CMDB accuracy, while mentoring specialists and ensuring AD/VDI services are available, secure and scalable. The role offers hybrid work in a global IT environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AD and/or VDI technologies and operations.
• ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent service management experience.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily IT service operations, vendor relationships, service budgets, forecasts and budget compliance.
• Ensure services are available, efficient and reporting on service performance.
• Design, optimize and troubleshoot AD-related services including group lifecycle and access control hygiene.
• Manage Azure VDI topics including FSLogix profiles and delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement and harmonization within the service area.
• Chair CAB meetings and participate in relevant CABs.

Job description

We are looking for a Service Manager – End User Services, AD and Azure Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) to take responsibility for service management, continuous improvement and development of services and solutions within Active Directory (AD) and Azure Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). In this role, you will act as the single point of contact for business stakeholders and vendors regarding IT-related topics in your service area.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily IT service operations, vendor relationships, service budgets, forecasts and budget compliance.
• Ensure services are available, efficient and effective, while monitoring and reporting on service performance.
• Design, optimize and troubleshoot AD-related services, including group lifecycle, OU structures, GPO assignments and access control hygiene.
• Manage Azure VDI-related topics, including FSLogix profiles, performance, application packaging and delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement, harmonization and rationalization within the service area.
• Chair Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and participate in other relevant CABs.
• Maintain service documentation, CMDB accuracy, software licenses and third-party service contracts, while mentoring specialists and sharing knowledge.
• Option for on-call if needed.

What we are looking for

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science, IT or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience in AD and/or VDI technologies and operations.
• ITIL Foundation certification or similar service management experience.
• Solid understanding of AD DS, DNS, DHCP, GPO fundamentals, user/group administration, security and Azure VDI components.
• Fluent English skills, analytical mindset, hands‑on attitude and strong communication and cooperation skills.
