Job summary

Granlund Oy is seeking an energy specialist to join the Vaasa-based energy department. You will lead energy-efficiency projects, conduct energy audits, and design renewable energy solutions in a growing team.

You will prepare payback calculations, support clients with energy-efficiency agreements, and act as energy manager for your own client portfolio. The role includes creating PTS plans and maintenance audits with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in energy, HVAC, electrical or building automation.
• Several years of energy-sector experience.
• Proficient in Finnish and English; Swedish a plus.

About the Role

Join a growing, capable expert team focused on increasing energy efficiency and carbon-neutral solutions. You will be part of Granlund's energy department as an energy specialist, leading energy-efficiency projects, conducting energy audits and current-state analyses, and designing renewable energy solutions.

You will prepare payback calculations, support clients with energy-efficiency agreements and related matters, and act as energy manager for your own client portfolio. Your work includes creating PTS plans and maintenance audits. You will contribute to solving client challenges and advancing carbon neutrality one building at a time, with opportunities to influence your role based on your skills and interests.

The team is based in Vaasa in a comfortable office near the market square, and the company offers very competitive employee benefits.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position is 2700-4500 EUR per month, depending on experience and fit.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have a suitable engineering degree in energy, HVAC, electrical or building automation, several years of energy-sector experience (e.g., heat pump solutions, energy networks or other energy-efficiency projects), and be proficient in Finnish and English, with Swedish a plus.
