Job summary

Granlund Oy in Helsinki is seeking a bold energy consulting intern to join our energy consulting team. The role focuses on the customer interface, contacting potential customers, arranging meetings, and turning conversations into concrete projects.

You will learn the full cycle of energy consulting, participate in real customer projects, perform analyses, and help develop energy concepts and profitability reviews. The internship is paid and offers flexible hours to fit your studies.

Qualifications

• You are currently studying in AMK/DI or similar in energy, HVAC, electrical/power, environmental technology, sustainable development, or industrial economics.
• You can be a recent graduate.
• You have the courage to pick up the phone and call customers.
• Fluent Finnish and English skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Contact potential customers by phone and email to generate meetings and opportunities.
• Arrange meetings and help turn conversations into concrete projects with experienced experts.
• Participate in real customer projects performing analyses, calculations, and profitability reviews.
• Collect and structure customer and market information to support sales activities.

Job description

Are you an energy or HVAC technology student who wants to get a good start to your career in a place where you can get straight into real work and real customers? We are now looking for a bold and sales-oriented energy consulting intern to strengthen our energy consulting team in Helsinki.

In this position, you will get to know the entire cycle of energy consulting: from the first customer contact to the project results. You will join a team that develops renewable energy solutions and promotes carbon neutrality. The team consists of group managers, leading experts, project managers, and energy experts. We work flexibly at Granlund's head office in Helsinki Malmi and remotely when necessary. You can work full-time or part-time, and your working hours can be adjusted to your study schedule.

Your tasks will focus on the customer interface: contacting potential customers, arranging meetings, and helping turn conversations into concrete projects alongside our more experienced experts. Additionally, you will participate in real customer projects performing analyses and calculations. Your daily work includes contacting potential customers by phone and email, collecting and structuring customer and market information to support sales, and participating in the development of energy project concepts and profitability reviews. You will also perform energy, emission, and life-cycle calculations as part of the project team. You will compile results and present them to customers. Our regional energy projects range from individual building energy solutions to city-wide systems. Interns are integrated from day one and work on real projects supported by professionals. We are an uncomplicated and professional real estate and construction company with over 60 years of experience.

Internship at Granlund is paid. Salary level for this position is €2500-3000/month.
