Granlund Oy seeks a construction project manager to lead energy efficiency projects in Helsinki or Tampere.
You will oversee procurement, construction, acceptance and warranty phases, and manage schedules, budgets and resources with multiple stakeholders.
A technical university degree (construction, HVAC or energy technology) and proven experience in energy projects; fluent in Finnish and English; RAP or TATE-RAP qualifications are a plus.
Do you want to be part of promoting the energy transition? Would you be interested in working in a nice and experienced energy efficiency team?
Building energy efficiency is of great interest today – for a good reason. The role of buildings as part of the energy transition is at least significant. We have been fascinated by this subject for 60 years and can boast that plenty of experience has been accumulated along the way.
Now our experienced and nice team needs a new member: we are looking for you, a construction project manager to lead energy efficiency projects with us in Helsinki or Tampere.
As a project manager, you are responsible for the financially successful implementation of Granlund's energy efficiency construction projects. Your work focuses particularly on the procurement phase, the construction phase, and the tasks of acceptance and the warranty period. You are also involved in the project, concept, and implementation design phases of the projects, bringing your practical experience and insight into implementation to the projects.
You are responsible for the overall management of construction projects from competition and procurement to coordination during construction and acceptance and warranty phase tasks. You prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resourcing, and ensure cooperation and communication between different parties.
Your projects may relate, for example, to heat pump solutions, refrigeration technology, energy efficiency projects for swimming pools and spas, and the development of office and commercial buildings. Projects may also include basic improvement, basic renovation, and space change projects. The work combines technical expertise, project management, and advancing customer goals.
The position offers the opportunity to also participate in the development of the Granlund Group's energy efficiency projects and construction business. You will be able to influence project models, project management practices, and the development of implementation phase operating methods together with experienced experts.
You will be placed in one of the five groups of the energy efficiency department. The teams consist of experts, leading experts, and project managers with whom you will work in close cooperation. Our work community is easily approachable, appreciates expertise, and supports each other.
You also have the support of a network of over 200 construction and supervision professionals. We work flexibly both in the office and remotely, and we believe in sharing expertise across team and business boundaries.
In addition, we can offer you very competitive employee benefits. They support our everyday lives and are desired by our employees themselves.
Regarding your salary: the salary level in this position is €4,400-5,000/month. This is influenced by your expertise as well as the correspondence of your profile and potential to what we are looking for.
Could you be the expert we are looking for?
You will succeed in the position if you have a technical university background, for example, in construction, HVAC, or energy technology, and experience in construction, project management, or energy efficiency projects. You understand the different phases of a construction project and can lead projects goal-orientedly from the perspective of schedule, cost, and quality.
We value experience in TATE construction, energy systems, and demanding renovation or building services projects. RAP or TATE-RAP qualifications are also considered an advantage.
In terms of your working style, you are proactive, solution-oriented, and cooperative. You manage several simultaneous entities, push things forward determinedly, and operate naturally with customers and other stakeholders. You work fluently in both Finnish and English.
