Job summary

V7 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a General Contractor delivering a major 430 MW hyperscale data centre project in Finland. This is a long-term opportunity on a 12-month contract with potential to extend or move to PAYE.

In this role you will lead electrical works from planning through to completion, manage subcontractors and site teams, and coordinate with MEP, construction and commissioning teams on a fast-paced, high-profile project.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or in a senior electrical delivery role.
• Strong electrical construction background.
• Data centre experience, hyperscale or mission-critical environment preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience managing electrical subcontractors and multiple site teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Must have the legal right to work in the EU.

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a General Contractor delivering a major 430 MW hyperscale data centre project in Finland.

This is a long-term opportunity working on a high-profile mission-critical project, with the potential to extend beyond the initial 12-month contract or transition into a PAYE position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical works from planning through to completion.
• Take responsibility for electrical project delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
• Manage electrical subcontractors, site teams and key project stakeholders.
• Coordinate electrical activities with other project disciplines, including MEP, construction and commissioning teams.
• Review programmes, drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Monitor progress, quality and productivity across the electrical package.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE procedures and relevant standards.
• Identify and resolve technical and coordination issues proactively.
• Lead meetings and provide clear project updates to senior management and the client.
• Ensure electrical works are delivered in line with programme, budget and project requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or in a similar senior electrical delivery role.
• Strong electrical construction background.
• Data centre experience is strongly preferred, particularly hyperscale or mission-critical environments.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience managing electrical subcontractors and multiple site teams.
• Strong understanding of construction programmes, drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure construction environment.
• Must have the legal right to work in the EU – candidates without EU work rights cannot be considered.
