Job summary

Omron Electronics S.p.A. in Espoo is seeking a Components Marketing Specialist for the Nordic region to drive awareness, demand and sales of Sensor & Components through both distribution channels and direct sales.

You will develop yearly activity plans with distributors, run targeted campaigns and empower sales teams with tools and product knowledge to engage customers effectively. Fluency in English and a Nordic language is required, with a proactive, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level in engineering or higher with HBO preferred.
• Marketing and digital marketing knowledge from courses or experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a similar role.
• Strong communication and training skills.
• Experience with Nordic distributors/wholesalers.
• Fluent English and at least one Nordic language.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the development of yearly activity plans with distribution partners and is responsible for their implementation.
• Plans and runs, targeted product campaigns that generate customer engagement and measurable demand.
• Equips direct and distributor sales teams with the tools, content and product knowledge needed to engage Sensor and Components customers and prospects effectively.
• Works directly with customers and partners to demonstrate product capabilities, provide technical guidance and support product adoption.
• Conducts local market research and stays in close contact with the market to track new developments, using these insights to strengthen the commercial performance of the countries.

Components Marketing Specialist

The Components Marketing Specialist is part of the Nordic & Baltic marketing team and works closely with the other team members on activities that build awareness and grow the business for OMRON's Sensor & Components ranges.

The position can be located in Køge (DK), Malmö, Stockholm (SE), Oslo (NO) or Espoo (FI).

About the role

The Components Marketing Specialist drives awareness, demand and sales of OMRON's Sensor & Components ranges through both the Distribution channel and direct sales.

• Contributes to the development of yearly activity plans with distribution partners and is responsible for their implementation.

Requirements and skills

• Technical Bachelor (HBO) Engineering or higher (preferably industrial engineering).
• Marketing and digital marketing knowledge (having completed at least some specialized course or professional experience)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and training skills.
• Robust technical foundation and a strong commercial acumen.
• Experience working with Nordic distributors/wholesalers
• Fluent English skills (spoken and written) are mandatory, alongside at least one Nordic language.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, passionate and thoughtful.
