Job summary

Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions is seeking a Senior SCM Manager to shape the Nordic supply chain, improve efficiency, and drive measurable results. You will lead a small team, optimize warehouse and transport costs, and oversee tenders and RFQ processes while collaborating across countries.

The role requires strong English communication, a pragmatic approach, and experience in logistics. Hybrid work models are available in Espoo and Nordic locations.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or similar; several years in SCM/Logistics.
• Experience leading and developing people.
• Strong understanding of warehouse and transportation processes and cost structures.
• Experience with logistics contracts, negotiations, tenders or RFQs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; identify root causes.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-country influence.
• Structured and pragmatic approach to turning strategy into action; readiness for day-to-day ops.
• Excellent communication skills in English; other Nordic languages advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Developing the Nordic Supply Chain: Take ownership of the Nordic supply chain operational model and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service.
• Ensure that improvements are translated into measurable results.
• Use data and analysis to identify trends, root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Improving customer service and delivery reliability: Improve delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
• Analyse root causes behind service failures and lead corrective actions.
• Managing costs and improving transparency:Take ownership of warehouse and transportation cost development.
• Lead cost optimisation initiatives and ensure that savings are sustainable.
• Lead contract negotiations, tenders and RFQ processes.
• Developing the team:Lead, coach and develop a five-person supply chain and customer service team.

Qualifications

• Preferably Master’s of Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or similar and several years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• Experience leading and developing people.
• Strong understanding of warehouse and transportation processes and cost structures.
• Experience with logistics contracts, negotiations, tenders or RFQs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes rather than simply solve individual operational issues.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across functions and countries.
• A structured and pragmatic approach to turning strategy into action. Readiness to handle day-to-day operations.
• Excellent communication skills in English. Other Nordic languages are considered an advantage.
