Job summary

Stora Enso is seeking two commercially driven and strategically minded Business Development Managers to fuel profitable growth for our sawmill business in Finland. You will connect market opportunities, customer needs, and production capabilities to drive value and long-term competitiveness.

You will lead product portfolio development, market expansion, and profitability initiatives, collaborating with Sales, Supply Chain, Mill Management, and Production to optimize value creation across markets

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for two commercially driven and strategically minded Business Development Managers to support the profitable growth and long-term competitiveness of our sawmill business.

You will play a key role in maximizing the value of our product portfolio by connecting market opportunities, customer needs, and production capabilities into profitable business decisions.

In this role, you will be at the center of product portfolio development, market expansion, value optimization, and business performance improvement. Working closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Mill Management, Production, and other key stakeholders, you will help ensure that our products are directed to the right markets, customers, and applications to maximize value creation.

The role can be located in any of the Stora Enso sites in Finland.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive strategic and tactical development of the sawmill product portfolio

To succeed in this role, you have:

• Experience in business development, sales, product management, supply chain, commercial management, or a similar business-oriented role.
• Good understanding of the forest industry, wood products business, or other industrial B2B environments.
• Strong commercial mindset and understanding of value creation and profitability drivers across the value chain.
• Experience in analyzing business performance and identifying opportunities for growth and value optimization.
• Ability to work effectively across functions and influence stakeholders at different organizational levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English.
