Job summary

Hiab is seeking a Business Analyst to partner with sales areas and central functions, translating data into commercial insights. You will own data pipelines from the data warehouse to reporting layers, focusing on service execution and product lifecycle, and deliver BI dashboards using CRM Analytics and Qlik Sense.

The role will be based in Helsinki, Finland, with Tampere as an additional eligible location, and requires Fluent English, strong SQL/BI skills, and experience with BigQuery.

Qualifications

• MSc or BSc in a relevant field.
• 2–4 years of analytics/BI or consulting experience.
• Hands-on SQL & BI experience required; BigQuery, Qlik Sense, Looker Studio, Excel & business case modelling are strong assets.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop BigQuery & CRM analytics data pipelines from source tables to reporting layers.
• Take domain ownership of data categories: service execution and product lifecycle.
• Build and maintain robust BI dashboards/reports in CRM Analytics & Qlik Sense.
• Support business case development and provide analytical input to strategic projects.
• Conduct training sessions enabling frontline and central teams to drive data-driven decisions.
• Continuously develop data processes, workflows, and team data maturity.

Your mission

The Business Analyst is a data-driven business partner within Hiab Services. Working closely with sales areas and central functions, the role provides trusted, data-driven recommendations that inform planning and key decisions. The role picks up from the data warehouse layer – owning data pipelines from curated BigQuery tables through consumption models to the reporting layer – and takes domain responsibility for defined data categories, including service execution (running on Salesforce FSM) and product lifecycle. By producing BI reporting in Qlik Sense and Looker Studio, you will translate analytical outputs into commercial insights that directly support services growth. The primary location is Helsinki, Finland, but we are also accepting applications from Tampere, Finland.

Key Responsibilities

• Owning and developing BigQuery & CRM analytics data pipelines from curated source tables through consumption models to the reporting layer
• Taking domain ownership of defined data categories: service execution, product lifecycle
• Building and maintaining robust BI dashboards and reports in CRM Analytics & Qlik Sense
• Supporting business case development and providing analytical input to strategic projects
• Conducting training sessions and enabling front-lines and central teams to drive data-drive decision-making
• Continuously developing data processes, workflows, and overall team data maturity.

What We Are Looking For

• MSc, BSc or equivalent in a relevant field
• At least 2–4 years of experience in analytics, BI, or a consulting-type role
• Hands-on SQL & BI experience is required. Proficiency in BigQuery, Qlik Sense, Looker Studio, Excel & Business case modelling is a strong advantage.
• Experience with Salesforce FSM is considered a plus
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Commercially aware with a solid understanding of the business context behind data
• Proactive, organized, collaborative, and comfortable working across functions and geographies
• Fluent written and verbal English skills.
