Job summary

Verne Vantaa Oy is seeking a proactive assistant to a Senior Project Manager to support on-site delivery and multidisciplinary coordination of data center projects. You will learn practical project execution while managing defined workstreams, in a fast-paced, collaborative environment designed for rapid professional development.

You will work with leadership, assist with scheduling, contract administration, risk management, reporting, and transfer knowledge as you grow into a Project Manager

Qualifications

• Educational background in Engineering or Construction.
• Good knowledge of administrative IT tools and Microsoft 365.
• Understanding of project management principles or construction environments.
• Previous work experience in project environments.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the project leadership team with daily site coordination, contract administration, scheduling, risk management, and reporting to ensure successful data center project delivery.
• Support daily site coordination, tracking construction progress and critical-path activities
• Assist in project scheduling, cost tracking, and managing the change-control process
• Maintain precise project records, decision logs, and meeting minutes
• Coordinate multidisciplinary packages across mechanical, electrical, and structural systems
• Draft weekly progress reports, including schedule, risk, and procurement updates
• Support the commissioning and final handover process to operations
• Assist with site administration and monitor contractor compliance with project requirements
