Job summary

Wärtsilä is seeking an Agentic Automation Expert to design, develop and scale AI agent-based automation across Wärtsilä Global Logistics Services. The role focuses on integrating AI agents with UiPath and ERP systems to improve end-to-end processes in a global logistics context.

The position requires expertise in LLMs, prompt engineering and Python, with a strong grasp of data platforms, REST APIs and database technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience with UiPath or comparable automation platform.
• Knowledge of Large Language Models and prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and working with REST APIs and JSON.
• Knowledge of databases and integration technologies.
• Experience with version control systems.
• Understanding of supply chain or logistics processes.
• Ability to design end-to-end solutions spanning multiple systems.
• Proactive, analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain AI agents integrated with UiPath and Microsoft.
• Identify processes where agent-based automation fits better than RPA.
• Orchestrate automation initiatives combining AI agents, RPA, and legacy systems.
• Extend the AI agent portfolio and define agent-RPA interactions.
• Integrate agents with ERP, logistics and data platform.
• Define operating standards for agents including monitoring and audits.
• Represent WGLS in AI/automation communities.
• Support the Citizen Developer community.
