Job summary

Wärtsilä is seeking an Agentic Automation Expert to drive AI agent-based automation within Wärtsilä Global Logistics Services (WGLS). You will design, develop and scale agent‑based solutions, collaborating with Process Automation Experts to decide between RPA, agentic AI, or hybrid approaches.

You will integrate AI agents with ERP, logistics systems and our data platform, define operating standards for production, and help govern agents across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with UiPath and AI agent integration with RPA.
• Strong knowledge of Large Language Models, prompt engineering and tool calling.
• Proficiency in Python, REST APIs and JSON.
• Knowledge of databases and integration technologies.
• Experience with version control systems.
• Understanding of supply chain or logistics processes.
• Ability to design end-to-end solutions spanning multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain AI agents integrated with UiPath and Microsoft.
• Identify processes where agent-based automation fits best vs. RPA.
• Orchestrate complex automation combining AI agents, RPA, legacy systems.
• Extend the AI agent portfolio and define collaboration with RPA.
• Integrate agents with ERP, logistics and data platforms.
• Define operating standards for agents including monitoring and audits.
• Represent WGLS in AI communities and cross-organizational projects.
• Support the Citizen Developer community in adopting agentic capabilities.
