EcoAct is an international climate consultancy and project developer that supports companies in establishing net zero strategies and achieving their science-based climate goals. In 2023, EcoAct joined the Schneider Electric group as part of the “Sustainability Business” (SB team).As we are a fast-growing organization, new profiles join us every year in different geographies. We are currently looking for a Marketing Manager to join SB / EcoAct Ibérica, and thus accompany the growth of this business unit. Reporting to the EcoAct Global Marketing Director, you will work with a global team to support marketing activities in the Iberia region that help us grow brand awareness and generate quality leads for the sales team.

Responsibilities

• Marketing Campaigns : Lead the delivery of Spanish-language marketing campaigns to grow brand awareness and generate sales leads in the Ibérica region.
• Content Adaptation : Translate and adapt marketing materials from other regions to ensure high-quality output for SB / EcoAct Ibérica.
• Content Creation : Write, edit, and proofread various content types, including blog posts, eBooks, case studies, papers, and factsheets.
• Social Media Management : Maintain and actively manage EcoAct Ibérica's LinkedIn account by repurposing existing materials, launching paid campaigns and creating new content.
• Event Attendance : Identify key annual events for the team and manage online and offline attendance.
• Event Organization : Ensure the smooth execution of events and webinars, including liaising with suppliers, organizing speakers and materials, and handling payments.
• Partnership Development : Identify and establish relationships with potential local partners in the sustainability field.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with Schneider Electric stakeholders in the Ibérica and Latin America regions to align marketing strategies.
• Regional Collaboration : Collaborate with the Southern Europe Marketing Manager to implement local marketing activities.
• Press Relations : Coordinate with internal experts and support for key messaging
• Marketing admin : manage invoicing, sponsorship contracts, subscriptions and partnerships.

Skills

• Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Passion for Sustainability : Demonstrated interest in sustainability and ideally, carbon offsetting.
• Organizational Skills : Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Team Player : Collaborative and able to work effectively within an international team.
• Adaptability : Flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
• Independence : Capable of working independently and autonomously.
• Additional Language : Knowledge of French is a plus.

Experience and expertise

• 2-3 years’ experience in a marketing & communication role
• Experience in sustainable development and / or carbon offsetting.
• Prior knowledge of Hubspot, LinkedIn Campaign Manager desirable.
• Understanding of the commercial drivers behind corporate climate actions and initiatives (SBT, RE100, carbon neutrality, CDP, TCFD...).

Location

• The position is based in Barcelona and may require travel in Spain and abroad.
• EcoAct promotes flexibility and autonomy, and occasional working from home is possible.
• Permanent contract.
