About this opportunity The Business Analyst will be part of the Appliance Design Core (Product R&D) team in Madrid. In this role, you will write and manage requirements and support releases of user-facing applications in a regulated medical environment as well as for research projects. Beyond regulatory requirements, you will work closely with expert clinicians and with developers of complex, computational geometry-based C++ and Python Applications. This role includes management of the software requirements, from initial conception, documentation, review, through development, verification (SQA) and validation. The successful candidate will have exceptional technical documentation skills, be detailed oriented, flexible, outspoken and articulate as well as having the ability to collaborate successfully with cross-functional teams and with members of the software team (Development and Quality). In this role, you will… Derive use cases and detailed software requirements from high level business and clinical goals. Closely collaborate with Product Management, Product Engineering, Software Development, Quality teams to ensure requirements are testable and unambiguous. Facilitate meetings and/or design sessions to validate, prioritize, and document specific requirements for clinical parameters and system interfaces Manage documents submission, approval, and maintenance on Electronic Document Management System. Manage regulatory documentation for a medical software Run SQL queries for analyzing impact of the feature, its limitations and identify the most promising directions of the development Perform explorative treatment review to identify clinical features of interest and define a scope of requirements Contribute to architecture and software design decisions Provide guidelines for product/clinical complaint classification and improvement input for process workflow In this role, you’ll need … Strong communication skills – clear communications with technical and non-technical audience. 3+ years of Work experience in working with software requirements. Experience writing requirements for 3D / geometry-based software. Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle. Interest in learning the problem domain and sharing knowledge with the wider team Ability to work in a formal process and achieve high quality in every detail. Experience in SQL. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, or STEM Major, or equivalent years of experience. Nice to Have: Basic 3D math concepts Experience in R&D environment Experience with agile software development Experience in Python development Sound like a good fit? Great!
