Reporting to the site VP People Function, the People Business Partner - labor relations mission will be to lead the People function for his / her area of responsibility, serving as a strategic partner for the business area while also serving as the site's Labor Relations representative, offering strategic vision regarding union management and labor relations for the site, as well as compensation and benefits.
Key Accountabilities
Networking
The People BP works closely with all members of the People Function team on the site. The People BP will interface regularly with assigned client groups. The People BP will interface with the functions across the organization as needed. The People BP participates and assists in projects led by the Global People Function Team.
Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management, Labor Relations, or similar. Degree may be substituted by relevant skills and work experience.
Valuable: Additional training in a Master's or Postgraduate degree in Human Resources will be valued.
Experience
Minimum experience of at least 6 years in a People Business Partner role with a focus on Personnel Administration and Labor Relations, preferably in strategic consulting firms (Big Five) or in the chemical / pharmaceutical, diagnostic, biotechnology, or similar.
Additional Skills
Fluency in Office Tools (Excel & Word), valuable knowledge in SAP.
Language: Fluency in Spanish or Catalan. Advanced knowledge of English (reading, speaking, and writing).

Travel
Not recurring travel, but availability to travel if necessary, estimated no more than 5% of yearly time.
