Job summary
A leading software solutions provider in Barcelona is seeking a proactive Accountant to join their Finance Team. This hybrid role focuses on monthly and quarterly closings, payroll management, and ensuring compliance with local tax obligations. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting and tax preparation, and be fluent in Spanish and English. - Minimum 3 years experience in General Accounting and tax preparation.
- Knowledge of using accounting system Great Plains or similar.
- Intermediate Excel skills required (VLOOKUPs / Pivot tables).
- Excellent communication skills for team interaction.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for monthly and quarterly closing processes.
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Manage payroll and ensure compliance with local obligations.
- Assist with year-end statutory audits documentation.
