Charter&Dreams is a well-established yacht brokerage and charter company, operating in the luxury yacht market and working with yachts from 20 metres upwards. We are a MYBA Member and currently manage an exclusive charter fleet of around 30 yachts.

Our objective is to expand our services by developing a professional Yacht Management division and strengthening our presence in the 40m+ yacht segment.

We are looking for someone who wants to do more than simply manage yachts: we are looking for the person who will help us build and lead this new business area.

The role

The Yacht Manager will act as the main point of coordination between the yacht owner, captain, Charter&Dreams and the different specialists involved in the management of the yacht.

We are not necessarily looking for a technical specialist in every discipline. We are looking for someone who understands the complete Yacht Management process and knows how to coordinate the right people, either internally or through trusted external partners.

The role will include coordinating areas such as:

• Technical management, maintenance and refits
• Financial management and budgeting
• Safety and regulatory compliance
• Crew management and recruitment
• Insurance, flag and class matters
• Documentation and reporting
• Suppliers and contractors
• Day-to-day communication with owners and captains
• Coordination with Charter&Dreams’ charter, sales, finance and marketing teams

Your main challenge

You will have the opportunity to create and lead the Yacht Management division of Charter&Dreams from the ground up, defining procedures, selecting partners and suppliers, implementing reporting systems and helping us develop a scalable management structure.

What we are looking for

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Yacht Manager
• Currently living in Mallorca
• Previous experience within an established international yacht management or brokerage company
• Experience in an organisation combining different areas such as Yacht Management, Charter and Yacht Sales
• Good understanding of the operational, technical, financial and regulatory aspects of yacht management
• Experience dealing directly with yacht owners and captains
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple specialists, suppliers and stakeholders
• Professional fluency in English
• Commercial and entrepreneurial mindsetComfortable taking responsibility and building new processes and structures

Experience with yachts above 40 metres will be highly valued.
